Petition Launched For Burleigh County Residents and Landowners

Citizen Advisory Petition will be forwarded to state and local policy makers.

The North Dakota Energy Council, a special-project coalition led by the North Dakota Watchdog Network announced that it will help Burleigh County residents and landowners be heard by elected state and local officials on the issue of the Summit Carbon Solutions Pipeline.

“We’ve been contacted by numerous current and public officials, donors, and general membership to take up the issue of the Summit Carbon Solutions Pipeline,” said Dustin Gawrylow, managing director of the North Dakota Watchdog Network. “To this end we have drafted what we call a Citizen Advisory Petition that we will deliver to public officials on behalf of those who wish to sign their name to the reasonable objections being made regarding the route placement specifically within Burleigh County.”
